Survivors include his loving wife of over 56 years, Frances Marie Meadows Pence, two daughters, Cindy Vest and husband Loyd of Lindside, WV and Valerie Marcin and husband Robert of Walkersville, MD, one sister, Louise Biggs and husband Harry of Lindside, WV, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his step mother, Kate McDaniel Pence. Richard also served our country in the U.S. after 39 ½ years of service and was involved in numerous community activities and organizations. Richard was a member of the Lindside United Methodist Church where he served in various positions. Born Maat Greenville, WV he was the son of the late Everette Luster and Genetta Bradley Pence.
